For current students:
If blackboard is down, you won't be able to log into your University gmail account in the usual way. Instead, to access your email:
1. Go to https://mail.my.shu.ac.uk. You will see a Google login screen not the normal SHU one.
2. Enter your username followed by @my.shu.ac.uk (e.g. b0012345@my.shu.ac.uk)
3. Enter your normal password
If you're using a tablet or smartphone, you should be able to access your email normally.
